3.15pm - 4.00pm: Does your company employ Lone Workers - are you fully compliant? Simon Bull, Castle Group Ltd
One issue that is hitting the headlines in the safety press currently is the plight of lone workers. These are people who regularly work without supervision or out of sight of other workers, which may sound like the blindingly obvious, but the truth is that many companies have people working alone and they don’t even realise it.
We will hear from Simon Bull who has worked in the field of technical safety monitoring and assessments for 25 years and has vast experience in the technology that can help to keep our workers safe, providing products and services through his company, Castle Group Ltd.
In Simon’s presentation, you will learn how to identify lone workers, how to implement a policy to protect them and how, if necessary to monitor them whilst they are alone. He will also demonstrate the latest state-of-the-art monitoring system, developed in Canada to cope with very remote workers indeed!
